Qualifications:
- Dynamic personality
- Ability to thrive under deadline pressure
- Commitment to a full term (three months)
- Minimum of ten (10) hours per week
- Remote positions (all positions are currently remote)
Available Areas of Interest:
- Contributors/Editorial:
- Evaluate press releases
- Research articles
- Fact-check editorial pieces
- Contribute to social media
- Submit story ideas and written features
- Participate in routine staff meetings
- Marketing/Advertising/Sales:
- Create and run marketing campaigns
- Conduct research on potential advertisers
- Assist with revenue generation ideas
- Create materials for client meetings and presentations
- Social Media/Web:
- Navigate digital platforms and content management systems
- Create monthly social media calendars
- Assist with e-mail marketing newsletters
- Conduct web research tasks
- Input content for web promotion via social media
- Photography:
- Shoot photography at events and client projects
- Assist with pre-production and post-production activities
- Implement photo assets on the web
- Execute tasks related to digital content strategies
